Hello, I'm Jourdan 👾

I build start-ups.

I'm a full-stack product engineer & investor based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a decade of experience building and deploying web apps and APIs from zero.

I've built all types of start-ups, from pre-seed with 0 employees, to mid-stage that IPO'ed during my tenure.

I'm currently employed full-time, and enjoy my role a lot. But on the side, I love to prototype, build, research and study to become the best engineer I can be 🛠️📚. I'm also on Twitter a lot.

When I'm not coding, I stream and talk Pokemon, fighting games 🐬, and JRPGs.

I enjoy playing some games competitively. I was a 2023 and 2024 World Championship competitor in Pokemon.

Start-ups & Investing 🚀

I invest in highly technical founders building software at scale to solve problems they experienced first-hand, with a particular interest in categories such as AI, Developer Tools, SaaS, Enterprise and FinTech.

AI has enabled a larger generation of builders to finally build and launch revenue-generating products, myself included. Project ideas no longer get stowed away in a never-ending backlog in a Notes app. I back ambitious founders as early as seed stage who are:

1. passionate and attached to their ideas
2. taking advantage of today's emerging technologies
3. building products with potential to influence industry and technology shifts, or with proven traction at scale
